Since the launch of the all-new McLaren 570S in New York City at the 2015 New York Auto Show, I've been very keen on hearing the latest British supercar. There's a reason for that: sound is extremely important for me when it comes to the high-performance motoring experience.

If the car doesn't sound good, it is problematic for me. And I know I am not alone in this department.

Of course there hasn't been an optimal time to really hear the 570S belt out the soundtrack from its 3.8-liter V8 engine. The closest we've got to hearing it, until now, was when it was being taken out of a dealership that held a 570S event. We only heard it start up and idle. To my ears it reminded me of a 458.

It was OK, but not going to blow anyone's doors off.

Now though we're hearing it belt it out as the world famous Jensen Button gave it the beans at last weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Check out the video clip below and let us know what you think!

Driven by Jensen Button, the brand new McLaren 570s does a burnout and revs! Thing sounds insane!
