One of the most intriguing vehicles in automobile history that DIDN'T make production is the Jaguar C-X75. When it was first seen in concept form folks fawned over it.

Rightfully so. It's a particularly good looking vehicle with its sensual lines and modern design. But its beauty is more than skin deep. When the folks behind the product set out to build the remarkable hypercar that would have squared up against the likes of the Porsche 918, Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1, it was supposed to have the performance of a Bugatti Veyron, the electric range of a Chevrolet Volt and the emissions of a Toyota Prius.

It's no doubt an ambitious series of goals but at the end of the day it sounds like a perfect vehicle, assuming you don't need cargo space. ;)

Unfortunately, this story is much like the Titanic. We know how it ends. BUT, to better understand exactly where Jaguar's headspace was at when it conceived of it, look no further.

The C-X75 pushes every boundary of power, performance and even fuel efficiency.
