The 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show will see a lot of premieres: the new Audi A5 Sportback and A8, the brand new Opel Astra, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabrio, the Bmw X1 and 5-Series GT. But what about Volkswagen? According to our sources, the German manufacturer will come with 4 new vehicles at this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
One of them will be the Golf R, a new vehicle based on the well-known hatchback, powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine delivering 265 hp. The Golf R will also feature a brand new body kit, with a centrally-mounted double exhaust and a sporty interior featuring Recaro sport buckets and revised instruments. Another premiere will be the Golf Variant, a car for the ordinary man and his family.
