If you're shopping for a Bentley Continental GT, you will have a couple of difficult decisions to make. First off, there's a bunch of variants. Aside from the GT3-R, the V8 S is the latest and greatest — and, in my opinion, the best right now.

Secondly, and I think this is the harder one to figure out, is whether or not you'll take the soft-top version. While not all Bentley buyers are adding this as their fifth vehicle to their respective fleet, some are. And considering that the convertible doesn't drive wildly different over its slick top sibling, I don't see how having a little wind in your hair could hurt.

That said, I wanted to run it past you, the tastemakers. Having driven several Continental GTs now, I can confidently say that they're all brilliant and not much separates the coupe from the drop top. At this point it's all about your personal preference and rationale.
