An all-new email has just popped into our inbox and, guess what? It appears that all the work Volvo has been showing us in the past 12 months — in regards to concept cars — is not going to go to waste. What do I mean by that? Well, check out this note:

Dear 001,

I've got a bomb to drop on you. Turns out that the all-new Volvo XC90 will have the same interior as the Frankfurt Motor Show Volvo Concept Coupe. You may remember it for its Tesla-inspired center stack that has the large screen. There's more! It will launch in late 2014 with a premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show and hit dealers in March 2015.

Well, it doesn't get much better than that.

Although we're told it will feature the same interior as seen in Volvo's Concept Coupe, it will certainly be watered down a bit for production. Though that's always the case, it will be interesting to see how it translates into a production interior. Given that Volvo's interiors typically are high-class spaces, we're expecting it to be pretty damn good.

That said, as a refresher I've included images from the Frankfurt Motor Show of the Concept Coupe's interior.

Would YOU want one of these for the screen?
