There you where, sitting in the couch. A moment you have been waiting for the whole day, the new issue of EVO and a nice cup of coffee. This EVO was long waited for, a special about your dream car….. Lamborghini Gallardo ….
You said it again, Lamborghini Gallardo….mmmmmm…what a car.
If it wasn’t so that you where out of milk for your coffee you would have been in the couch a long time ago, but the trip to the supermarket took, as usual, much longer then expected.
It didn’t take long before you dreamed yourself away in the article, dreaming that it was you behind that stearingwheel, closing the door and firing up the motor.
And what a motor, the sound of that wonderful V10 was like music to your ears, you press the accelerator some 3 - 4 times just to rev up the engine before you
let the first gear in and carefully drive away. The winter tires have problem to find grip so you take it easy from the start, you don’t want to give to much throttle and play until the oil and the engine has the right temperatures.
Second, third and fourth gear just slip in , your experience helps you to correct the small slides , a little snow and ice on the roads just makes the trip more fun and exciting .
After a while, the oil temperature is at its right degrees and you start to rev up the machine a lot more, you let the wide tires loose the grip more and more, and enjoy the lovely power slides, the excellent four wheel drive makes it very easy to control, and the car explodes out of every corner like a cannonball.
You’re sliding and having fun for several hours until you call it a day.
What a pleasure to drive this wonderful machine in the winter, you really don’t understand those people that put away their Gallardo during the winter, I mean; it’s just a perfect car for the winter.
Suddenly u wake up, and you noticed that you fell asleep for a while.
You take some of your coffee…ugh….its cold and tastes like crap, you get up and pour it away.
It’s already late and time to make some dinner, but first you want to make sure that you switched off the light in the garage.
The light was turned off, but you switched it on again, to look at the car.
There’s a clicking sound from the exhaust system, and it reminds you of the sound of frying onions when the snow and ice drops on it.
You switch off the lights again, and you’re already longing for tomorrow, when you take the black Lambo out for your next trip to the supermarket.
