Although hopes were high that Honda will be receiving engines from Ferrari for their beleaguered F1 team, Ferrari’s Stefano, Domenicali dashed whatever hope remaining with a revelation that the chance of a deal with Honda, previously attempted by team boss Ross Brawn, is actually close to nil.
As a result, it now seems that Mercedes-Benz will be the most likely engine provider for the Brackley based F1 team currently known as Honda.
