If you’re in the market for a new Volkswagen Amarok pickup truck, then there should be no time to waste since the carmaker would need to sell 100,000 units each year in order to make a profit on the Amarok in the US. Mike Levine at PickupTrucks had an opportunity to speak with Stefan Jacoby, President and CEO of Volkswagen of America.

VW is believed to have a difficult task in front of it since the trucks didn’t sell that well the past year. In particular, the only non full-sized truck that sold many units last year was the Toyota Tacoma (102,327 units).
