The Ford F-150 will benefit from a new six-cylinder engine given by the Ford Mustang, according to a report from PickupTrucks. This engine will join the 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 that will enter the stage this year.
The EcoBoost powerplant uses direct gasoline injection and twin-turbo forced induction. This results to good fuel efficiency while still offering a power that rivals the V8. The source added that it’s likely that the vehicle will retail for a higher price than other V6 units offered in the past.
