SPIED: Audi TT/R4/eTron Detroit Concept Caught Goin' For A Ride

Well, well, well. Look what we have here. Apparently, Audi was doing some interesting things with what appears to be an eTron Detroit Concept.

Although the car looks nearly identical to the Detroit concept, we have yet to hear of anything substantial of it actually becoming the rumored R4 or next-generation TT. Pretty much it's all speculation at this point.

Regardless, that did not keep Audi from playing around with the vehicle in Austria -- at least that's where it is believed to have been shot.

Audi gone viral or someone at the right place, with... almost the right equipment at the right time? Well, we can't answer that, but we do know that a Youtube user filmed a series of videos showing a mysterious Audi sports coupe (or Spyder) in covers being transferred via helicopter to the Olympia Ski Resort in the Tyrolean Alps, close to Innsbruck, in Austria - or at least that's what we understood, so any corrections welcome. The person who filmed the car said Audi was making some sort of a promotional video...
