It's not everyday that you get to drive a 1964 Ferrari GT/L. For those of you not in the know, that's the infamous Lusso.

This car is the epitome of what made Ferrari's road-going cars so great. They weren't wannabe racers or anything of the sort. Ferrari built grand tourers equipped with a front-mounted V12 sending power to the ass end. As it exited one's range of sight, you'd hear that glorious symphony from the exhaust.

This car was built to drive along the coast in some serious style.

Long story short, to quote Ferris Bueller:

"If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up."

You can too, if you have an estimated $600,000 - $750,000 in spare change rolling around. This particular Lusso will be up for grabs at Gooding & Co's March 11 auction at Amelia Island.
