Even though Toyota has seen its fair share of problems over the past couple of years, the Camry remains a mainstream vehicle that has a loyal stream of buyers. That's just how the cookie crumbles.

With that said, the current product has aged and its time for something a little more...new. Akio Toyoda knows that his family's brand has suffered and it seems that he's going to right some of the wrongs with the 2012 Camry.

Toyoda has even ensured to put his face on camera and do his best to tease us with a headlight shot.

Well, we hope that Toyota's not playing around because its got some big time competitors now.

Toyota has released the first teaser video for the 2012 Camry.

While there isn't much to see, Toyota president and CEO Akio Toyoda says the model is the "best Camry ever" and will "exceed your expectations." He also promised the Camry will be a "remarkable car in terms of handling, safety and fuel economy."

Additional information is limited, but the redesigned Camry will be available this fall...
