Though the Bugatti Veyron is a tough act to follow, Volkswagen Auto Group's head honchos are set to meet soon to decide the fate of the four-door Veyron known as the Galibier.
We've seen it in concept form and according to recent rumors the car needs a bit more work before its ideal for production. Word on the street suggests that the Galibier will feature over 900 horses, but some parties are saying it needs over 1,000 while some hint at a twin-turbo'd powerplant good for 900-ish. Obviously, nothing's crystal clear as the car hasn't been given the offical "go."

Volkswagen chiefs are weeks from deciding irrevocably whether to put the million-pound Bugatti Galibier, their elegant and super-fast front-engined saloon concept, into production.
The plush and powerful four-seater, unveiled as a concept ahead of the Frankfurt show two years ago, is tipped to succeed the Veyron as the Molsheim factory’s staple manufacturing product, and could be in owners’ hands as early as autumn 2013 if VW Group chiefs okay the plans this autumn as expected...
