With a carbon fiber body and all of the wizardry you would come to expect from BMW the i3 Concept rethinks what the electric urban car should be.  From the outside what BMW calls "stream flow" design the i3 Concept certainly keeps it from looking like the average cookie cutter style EV.  A fancy Prius plugin this isn't.

You also need to look no further the the lounge style seating and upscale interior to tell that BMW is looking a different market than the Nissan Leaf,  Fisker Karma, or even Tesla Model S as well.  BMW is targeting those who still want both style and environmental friendliness in a smart and sophisticated package.  Something that until now has eluded the market.
