Judges which include 66 leading journalists from around the world, have been getting finalist lists for 2013 World Car of the Year, World Performance Car, World Green Car and World Car Design of the Year awards. Today they have released the finalists and later this month the winners of each category will be announced at the 2013 New York City Auto Show.
Unlike last year, there are 4 finalists instead of 3 for the 2013 World Car of the Year, indicating a very close race. Finalists for the World Car of the Year include Mercedes A-Class, Porsche Boxster /Cayman, Toyota GT 86 / Scion FR-S /Subaru BRZ and Volkswagen Golf VII.
