Now if you're finding yourself saying "Aaron who?" you might be removed from pop culture in a big way. That's because Aaron Paul was most recently the star of the Need for Speed flick, but he's best known as Jesse from AMC's critically acclaimed series, Breaking Bad.
And if you were to ask me, I'd say it was television's best show. Ever.
Although Paul isn't exactly a car nut, it seems that he may have been infected by the sickness after filming Need for Speed. In interviews promoting the film, Paul spoke highly of the exotics he piloted and how it was a remarkable experience. I'd probably say the same thing if I had access to a Koenigsegg, Bugatti, Ferraris, etc., etc.
In a recent interview, the journalist asked a very basic, softball question to the star: "What was your favorite car to drive?" I found it interesting he noted the Torino was his pick.
Now what do you know, it looks like Paul was gifted the movie car after production stopped.
Aaron Paul's co-star in his latest film Need For Speed was a shiny blue 1968 Gran Torino.
The 34-year-old actor turned some heads as he got behind the wheel of what looked like the same car during a casual outing with his wife Lauren Parsekian on Tuesday, mainly because it WAS the same car as in the movie.
Aaron won the Gran Torino as a parting gift from the film's production company in March, and proudly drove Lauren in it to see an art exhibit in Los Angeles...
