You may remember that Nissan had a skunkworks operation that assembled an intense Juke that was retrofitted with a GT-R's power and drivetrain. How they made it work was truly remarkable, but the third-party team that did it was a group of wizards. So, voila!

If you thought that was the end of the story, well, you thought wrong. That's because we're assuming the same magicians decided to tackle the project again. This time though it will feature the GT-R NISMO's madness. That means a 600 horsepower GT-R powertrain as well as — I am assuming — more lightweight technology.

Dubbed the Juke-R NISMO, Nissan isn't pulling punches in its press release that states it is a "supercar beating crossover."

Look out for more details to surface before its June 25 reveal at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Until then, scope out the teaser shot below.

Now, Nissan is set to unleash its latest evolution... the Nissan Juke-R NISMO.

Using the latest technology, styling and running gear from NISMO products, the supercar beating crossover will be unveiled and unleashed at Goodwood Festival of Speed (UK) on June 25th.
