Since the conversation about a sport-utility vehicle variant of Tesla's wildly popular electric vehicle popped up we've been wondering "Will the Tesla Model S even matter when this thing launches?" While we've seen plenty of people run out and add a sedan Model S to their personal fleet, it seems like the Model X is the vehicle that will take the company to another level.

Why?

Well, simply put, people LOVE their SUVs with plenty of space and utility for whatever it is they do, be it skiing, taking the kids to soccer practice or moving their kids into their dorm room. 

Although we're sure some people will add another Tesla to their garage, I think it's a safe bet that most people will only find a need to have one electric vehicle in their driveway. Having said that, now that the lower-priced Model X has been made known with a price tag only $5,000 more over the Model S, is it the no brainer decision?
