Every year, Jeep hosts an event for extreme Jeep enthusiasts. These folks are true brand ambassadors as they embody what Jeep is really about: off-roading, having fun and modifying their Jeep products to the extreme.
Over the years, Jeep has recognized this and utilized this particular event as a launching point for its most badass concepts. So, it should come as no surprise that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) will be bringing a total of seven all-new concepts to the Easter Jeep Safari.
If you've been following AutoSpies, you would know that we're fans of Jeep's work, especially the Wrangler. Agent 001 is a known repeat buyer. This is why we're jacked up about the two shots below.
First up is a Wrangler that goes by the name Trailcat. While there's virtually ZERO information about this model, we think it's pretty self explanatory what will be going down here. A Wrangler gets the Hellcat motor and a slew of off-roading goodies.
Following that is the Crew Chief teaser. While we don't know exactly what's in store, from what we can see of the teaser, expect this to be a throwback to the Jeep Cherokee of the 1970s and 1980s. Given the usage of "Crew" in its name, there's potential that this may be a pick-up truck variant of the Wrangler. Modded pick-up versions of the Wrangler have been done up previously and, frankly, we're digging what we're seeing. Fingers crossed, Spies!
