Aston Martin Launches V8 Vantage Roadster

After all the spy shots and all the leaked info, Aston Martin has finally officially launched the new V8 Vantage Roadster at the 2006 LA Auto Show. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster will be powered by the same engine found in the coupe with a 4.3 liter V8 engine that will push 380 horsepower and give the car the ability to do 0 to 60 mph in just 4.9 seconds. Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster buyers will have the option to purchase a six-speed Graziano manual gearbox with the recently announce paddle shifting by Aston Martin. The price is expected to be at least $10,000 over the coupe version of the car.

The Vantage is by far the best looking aston ever made...I think the side character line which differentiates it from the DB9, makes it the better looking car of the two.

The Vanquish & DB5 are also both great Aston designs, but the DB9 & Vanatage take the cake by a large margin...IMO there quite simply the best looking cars ever made.

Looks beautiful.It was Aston Martin's plan long ago to release it alongside the CASINO ROYALE film.

BTW,Looks so much like a baby DB9 Volante.Which is a good thing.
