BMW 535d by HAMMAN with up to 350 HP
HAMANN, the car refiner from Laupheim, is now expanding its product range for the BMW 5-Series E60/61 with attachments for vehicles with the M aerodynamics package. Besides the aerodynamics components, HAMANN also offers other conversion measures. Diesel drivers can expect major performance increases. Up to 350 HP is possible!

BMW's range of engines leaves no wishes unfulfilled. Or do they? In any case, customers can choose from four different types of engines. Whether it is the 520d, 525d, 530d, or 535d - the Bavarian manufacturer offers the right unit to meet the needs. However, needs can grow! So a visit to HAMANN is recommended to anyone wanting more performance. The company from Laupheim can help put an edge to all versions by reprogramming the series engine management.

Take a look at BMW's diesel sales in Europe and then tell me that diesel cars are a joke.

I liked the fact that they bump up the HP on the car, but I don't like that the body kit makes it look like a modified M5 (the side grills and the dual twin-tips). They should make it stand out without trying to copy the M5 too much.

With all that torque, I bet it feels even faster than the posted 0-62 time. I wonder what the fuel economy numbers are? Fuel economy certainly doesn't drive a performance purchase, but it can't hurt.

I like what they did to the 5 series. Although I agree with jeffy, it looks too similar to the M5, but that isn't really a bad thing.

AND BTW,
Lexus_idiot,
Your a complete moron.
I bet you can't even afford a lexus.
And just because the GS has more power does not make it fun to drive or faster.
BMW will always be king in driving dynamics.

Will
I always Lauded the GS450H for what it tries to do and would consider it if I wasnt moving away from central London (Hybrids are Exempt from Congestion charging)

However I have driven the 535d (Girlfriend's) and I promise you, The GS will not, Repeat, WILL NOT beat the 535d under normal Driving Conditions (2nd-4rd Gear Acceleration or Motorway Overtaking not to mention the Boosted Hp Versions.

But Agian.
I do like the GS Hybrid for what it Does.

Diesels sell in Europe because Europeans are too poor to afford a clean car like with a gasoline engine. Diesels are cheap and so is the fuel. Put those two together and then you can see why they sell so well overthere.
-----------------------

That is the dumbest and most idiotic comment i've ever read. Diesel is very popular not because of it's price. Where are you coming up with people being poor? If someone is poor how could they even buy a premium vehicle that is "DIESEL"? If diesel is such a poor persons alternative to driving a gasoline car then why do the PREMIUM brands make it? Are you some nitwit that judges before you know the facts? people like you shouldn't even comment on these type of sites.

Your name says it all... get lost kid.

In The UK & Europe
Diesel Versions of Cars COST MORE than their Petrol Counterparts.
And
Diesel Costs More Than Petrol

That Lexus Guy is a COMPOUND FOOL.
