I saw this at the Car and Truck show yesterday. My god, could the rear lights be any uglier? The moment i saw that, it just turned me off to the whole car.

The Camry and Accord are much better designed with better quality meterials and Reliability.
And performance.Altima is nowhere near the Subaru Legacy H6.That will beat all the relative BMWs,MBs and Lexuses.
Partly u r right,Altima's 3.5 VQ engine have the edge in terms of Performance over Accord's 275BHP VTEC and Camry's 272BHP VVVT-i,but i am sure u don't have any personal experience with it.That engine is the leaset reliable u can get in a japaneese vehicle.
One of my relative drives one.The engine just gave up after 30-35K miles and again at 40K miles. It happened with him twice.
Maybe bad luck....but not quit good experience.

Not bad.
I'd rather take the Altima over the Camry or Accord.
It looks better than the previous model.
Definently worth the money.
