The coolest S-Class on earth?

Check out this converted Mercedes S-Class that was shown at Beijing's Auto China.

It's called the DC Star XL.

I love how they have integrated the Macintosh into the rear seat area!.

Hello????

Mac is short for MACINTOSH.

I used to be the President's techical advisor at Apple Canada.

So I have a little 'MAC' experience ;)

In fact, I'm typing this on an iBook G4!

yes, it is probably a Mac mini, but it could also be the old G4 Cube.

Macintosh is a type of Apple as well, but I hate aftermarket crap being done to nice cars.

Some rides just do not require further "pimping".

Why get a Maybach when you can get an S-class for a cheaper price!!!

Why, because you can.

I know a real estate agent because I'm an agent named John McMonigle that owns a Maybach and it's chauffeured.

He's a very busy guy and one of his listings is a $75 million dollar home in Spyglass district of Corona Del Mar,CA or on the beach in Orange County if you prefer.

Watch this video and see the 8000 sq ft garage for your cars.

This is a S Class customised by Dilip Chabbria, the famous Indian car designer. The car bears his distinctive DC logo and is well crafted as is his wont.

When I heard "S-Class" and "China" and saw that it was an extended model, I thought it was going to be an amazing Chinese copy. Thank the Lord it isn't so.

Looking good but I am a PC fan. My kids love Mac's though, I never could understand why.

Anybody wants to know about the price.2 years ago i was in Dubai(especially gone there for the Autoshow)
Dilip Chabbria or DC presented two of his latest creations. One was a 2 door porsche Cayenne Turbo(not chopster)and the other was this S class.

Both cars were sold at the very first day.One gone for 1200k Dihams and the other for 1000K Dirhams.
(1 USD = 3.678 Dihams)

Okay, I have a question.

MB spends countless Euro's on this car, which in my opinion is fantastic. Though I would maybe have good for a Windows run computer for business....unless it's the car for a visual arts company. Then it makes sense.

But anyways....why isn't there a more streamlined integration for the acutal iPod? It's laying there right no the Mini next to the Harmon Kardon system. I would just think they could create a custom piece so that you wouldn't have to let it lay upside down like that.

Other than that I'd take one.

Nice car.
The S class is my favorite car in its class (along with the a8) and this customization makes it look even better!

Yes, I really wouldn't be able to choose between an A8L and an S550.

Whichever gives me a better deal (not a lower price, but a better deal) would be the factor that makes me buy the car.

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. That "wood" under the screens looks fake, and it doesn't look "polished" like it would if it were designed by Mercedes.

i just have one word, WOW. I still think the 65 AMG is cooler, but this sure is innovative, confortable and an allpurpose car... Did i just said ALLPURPOSE
