BMW not underwriting leases on X5s until next month

More than one dealer in the NY Metro Area has told me that BMW NA will not be underwriting leases on new X5s until sometime in December.

The result is a lease payment of close to $850-900 a month for a decently equiped six clylinder model with an MSRP around $50-55k. After that, it should drop at least a hundred dollars or so.

Always. BMW, Infiniti, Volvo nearly always do this year round.
