I see the GL450 won the luxury SUV award. The car magazines really seem to dig that truck.

Yeah, I guess I have to drive it. I don't think it's that good-looking or that luxurious (I was at my local Benz dealer yesterday; we were driving an E350 4Matic and weren't impressed). Maybe it's sporty?

I love the new GL, but I didn't trade in my Lexus LX470 because the GL does not have a reversing camera and the navigation system is awkward to use. My Lexus dealership is telling me the new LX570 will be released by the end of calendar 2007, so I can wait.

However if you like your vehicles without decent GPS, and don't care about the reversing camera then the GL is a fantastic machine.

Uh... well, the Rabbit and Civic are pretty much equal, or possibly the Rabbit is better, where fun-to-drive-ness are concerned, and it's certainly a more versatile car, thanks to the hatchback. I wouldn't say the Civic is better- it depends on what bodystyle you want.

The Corolla has never really been best-in-class, and going by the pictures we saw, the new one won't be, either.

A lot of typos there!

I meant "where fun-to-drive-ness IS concerned", and "judging" instead of "going".

If Agent 009 had written the headline it would have been "shock as Toyota fails to win many categories".

By the way Toyota/Lexus won four categories the most of any company. So, as usual, congrats to the Toyota/Lexus in this case for the RAV4, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Lexus ES350
