Typical spaceship design because the car has no real heritage and I find heritage very important.

Beautiful car and please cut the crap heritage/prestige none sense this car can kick all the German cars asses. It has all the heritage it needs in Japan since that's the only place it lived in, bring it on to the US and will kick everyone's behind.

I have read Autospies for years but rarely bothered to write any comments but I thought that you should be put in your place. NO HERITAGE???? You are obviosly extremely close minded and never bothered finding out about what many people (if not every REAL car enthusiast) call one of the best cars to have ever hit the road, THE SKYLINE GTR. GO EDUCATE YOURSELF, this car has blown people's minds for decades.

I'm sure the car is killer, but I do not like the body design.
I like the Bentley Continental GTC and the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
I just don't like that futuristic design.

I agree with the "No hertitage" statement, but I like the futuristic design, that is primarly why I love the Audi R8.. Dont get me wrong I love the classiness of cars that scream heritage like Bentley/Rolls/Range Rover, but this "design of the future" concept is nice..I think Mercedes is the best at combining the aspects of future with the past, look at the new S class, it looks modern, yet also retains to its long history..

That bloated looking pile will be hard pressed to keep up with a z06.

They should update this design, because the concept came out like two years ago and it's getting a bit dated now.I have no doubt the performance this machine will bring to the table!!
MKV Supra vs.R35 Skyline GTR will be a great match,I can't wait!!

They don't need to redesign this. Nissan enthusiasts have never really bothered to keep up with 'updated' styles. If people are still buying 240sx's to modify and drift with it clearly shows that styling is far less important than function. And if you compare the new GT-R to the 240sx there is a big leap in times here. The G35 was a risk IMO for Nissan/Infiniti but it grew on people. This new GT-R will grow on many as well. There are lots of competition in this price range but i believe the loyal nissan fans will look this way. Just my two cents.

"Nissan enthusiasts have never really bothered to keep up with 'updated' styles", u r right Agent63, thats why i dont even bother looking at any nissan. Anyways, i dont like the design n i could care less about the heritage/no heritage stuff, i just dont like the design. On the performance part, well thats another story we'll just have to c when it goes out.
