Tesla to electrify the car world again?
Said to take on the BMW 5-Series, the rear-drive saloon will be sold globally, with a more ambitious volume target of 10,000-20,000 units per year. The as-yet-unnamed second model will likely ride on a chassis made of lightweight steel (the Roadster employs Lotus Elise-sourced bonded-aluminum).

Why can't you call it a SEDAN instead of a SALOON, and a COUPE instead of a CABRIOLET...Wayyyyyy to fancy....Oh but kewl car either way.

And, BTW, a saloon is a very fancy sedan. A8, S-Class, LS, etc are all saloons.

excuse me, but in europe, the word sedan does not exist. saloon describes anything with a 3 box profile, where the rear glass does not lift up.
a cabriolet is a convertible.
a coupe is a 2 door hard-top.

Coupe/Cabriolet, different things.

Cabriolets are convertibles.

In Britain, we call "Sedans" Saloons, no matter where they fit in the range...On topic, I bet making the Tesla produced more CO2 than you would have produced if it was an Elise...

Keep up the good work!
