No, It can't. Buick is in the garbage. I'd choose Lincoln before I chose Buick. And that's not biased, it's smart.

the fact that anyone would consider a lincoln in the same league as buick saids alot about lincoln and how far cadillac has come in recent years in distancing itself from lincoln, and all of it would be true lol poor lincoln..but i think the enclave is a nice looking car a little to much wood on the inside but i dont think the point is to outsell the best selling car in the segment anyway

I love all the chrome on the Buick Enclave and the chrome on the new Lincoln Navigator is cool too!

Both will be big sellers and thank you for bringing back chrome for Christmas.

Because the Navigator is hideous. It's an embarrassment in this day and age of higher gas prices.

Enclave is supposed to Buick's response to the RX 350 because Buick stated that they want to become the American Lexus. I think they'll be dissapointed when this doesn't sell nearly as well as the RX. It's exterior isn't as clean or simple yet striking as the RX's is.

Yes, toyotamarc, I agree. They need a good CAR to appeal to the American public. Maybe a Cadillac-esque comeback is in the cards.

However, the one obstacle is that they're both in GM. They'd have to appeal to different markets, while still maintining Buick's low-end old-peoples' car image, and Cadillac's high-end every-age's car image.

This will not even be close to the sales of the RX.
As S4 stated, Buick has a low-end old peoples image.
They need more than one decent car to save the company.

I don't get the hype with this thing. Its just one more hedious design from GM. It wont last long. At least the Randevouz was discreet in its mediocrity. This one is flashy and gross.

Lincoln is nothing more than a gussied up Ford Crown Vic or, at best, a failed attempt to suck more money out of Grand Marquis buyers. The Grand Marquis offers the best value among the three Ford offerings I just mentioned. Ford should merge all 3 into a single product called the Lincoln Marquis and sell it at the current Grand Marquis price. Later, Ford can create a whole new brand to compete with Cadillac. The Buick Lucerne can be bought with the Cadillac Northstar DOHC V8 engine with considerably more horsepower than Lincoln's anemic SOHC engine. The only thing wrong with the Buicks is that ridiculous oval grille. Now that Ford has allowed Lincoln to go to pot, the Buick Brand promises much more value. How could you let this happen Bill?

I most Definitly Agree...The Enclave, is a very good looking, and it appears to have excellent genetics...Before anyone replys, regarding my Age, or Ethnicity, I'm an AARP member, a young AARP member, but I'm in there...I'm also what Mercedes call's a 'Woopee' aka Well Off Older Person!! I'm very much for Trying out American First, and Buying American, is Our Goal...I am impressed, with GM, and the direction they are going, and like you, I am very-very saddened by Ford, and Chrysler...We will be going to the L.A. Auto Show, with Our Focus, on two key events...The new Mercedes Blue-Tec, and All that is new from GM!!! Look forward to seeing you there...And seeing the Enclave.

are they still in business? i can't beleive that anyone would buy a Buuuuuuick product.is it a rebadge Santa fe? I like honda/Acura but Lexus cars scare the
hell out Acura,old timers like Mercedes and BMW forget about old Cady and Lincoln.
