Honda REMIX Concept Revealed

This is just weird. I could see it as a Scion or small Toyota- but it doesn't have a single Honda design cue...

I noticed Honda's design cue has changed in the last couple of years..I always remembered most Hondas sitting quite low with a sharp creases. This design by far uses more of fluid sheetmetals combining it with aggresive or rather a taller stance w/large tires which is a welcome. The front facia has a similarities w/CR-V. I also notice same familiarity in most concept cars coming from Japan which is the rearview mirrors being replaced w/a camera which decreases wind noise level and also drag coefficient a bit but most importantly it makes designers do more. It's designed in California and perhaps that is the reason why its so Un-Hondalistic. Overall the design is very futuristic and clean but it'll mostlikely not show on a production Honda anytime soon.

Honda is tottaly going with the futuristic look, all soooo sweet! Take some notes volkswagen.

err ... So the next Golf would look like a scion !?

The taillights look like they're off the Beetle.

Other than that I can't tell which is the front of the thing.

This is just a concept. I highly doubt a production model will look as futuristic as this. It does look more like a Toyota/Lexus design than a Honda. The supposed new NSX concept that came out a few years ago had the same color and non-traditional Honda styling cues as well. Perhaps their all winding down the typical Honda trend and moving up towards futuristic designs.

Looks like a rounded off version of the Acura concept.

I don't know why, but this car reminds me of concept cars of the late '90s...
