LA Show News: World Debut of Audi TT Roadster!

Amidst a group of somber-looking Germans and a duo of small screen stars, Audi unveiled its next generation TT Roadster. Deciding on a soft-top setup versus the en vogue hard top configuration, Audi maintains that driving dynamics have been enhanced by its lightweight construction. To make sure the center of gravity is optimally distributed, Audi employed the use of steel and aluminum in the top's structure and still allowed a nice amount of rearward visibility with the glass window.

Nice looking car but it looks a bit out of proportion from the side. From the back it looks like a different car. Based on looks i would have to choose the Z4. Based on the interior and quality of the car the audi would get my vote. Any news on the TT RS? What about a Z4 M csl?

By the way... is it pronounced "zed four" or "zee four" because Chris Bangle pronounces it "zee" but Jeremy Clarkeson pronounces it "zed". I prefer "zed", personally...

Wow, not many people would agree with your view. The Z4 is a mess.

When I saw these pictures, the Roadster took my breath away. Far better-looking than the TT coupé, its forebears, and any other Audi convertible that's ever been in production.

it's called an opinion,s4.

the tt has classic, elegant looks whilst the z4 has a futuristic, erratic and layed back design. the z4 LOOKS fast, the tt LOOKS slow. somehow i just think audi were too conservative with the tt. the old tt was a symmetrical mess (even voted the Australian Gay car of the year)and this one, although it looks good from the front, still looks too symmetrical (how superficial am i!!!!) for my liking.

the z4 COUPE took MY breath away. The z4 will become a classic car. i think that this tt will be forgotten, but hopefully (for audi's sake)i am wrong.

look at the 7th picture from the bottom (dimensions) if you don't see the symmetry.
