Are these the most exclusive coupes? I know which i'd rather have, what about you-why?

Rolls-Royce 100EX coupe
Two years ago, Rolls-Royce unveiled the 100EX convertible concept, and it wowed the crowds in Geneva. Since then, Rolls has confirmed that it will, indeed, build a production convertible based on the 100EX, and we expected to see that car at this year's Swiss show. Instead, Rolls surprised show attendees with yet another concept, the 101EX, which is a coupe version of the 100EX convertible.

Bentley continental GT
The Bentley Continental GT will turn its driver into a de facto spokesmodel, with junkets lurking at every parking lot, gas station and red light. Passers-by insist on sitting in the driver's seat — bouncing with glee once inside, exclaiming, "I'm in a Bentley, I'm in a Bentley!" Fellow motorists shouting questions and compliments ensure that the windows stay down, even in a light drizzle.

The Rolls - no contest

Bentleys seem to be rather common in S.E. Florida

Bentley is also commonly seen in Palm Springs, CA. also. Seen a few in Korea's golf courses also.

And unfortunately, here on Orange County, I see more Continental GT's on a daily basis than I do Chevy Cobalts...nly a few Rollers per day...so the Rolls is much more exclusive and still gets noticed.

Bentley...sporty and luxurious

RR...elegant and luxurious, but it kinda looks like a big lead block on wheels to me.

personally, i've always loved the continental GT

i love the bentley, but these cars are in completely different leagues. the rolls costs at least twice what the bentley does. when the azure coupe comes out, then there will be competetion.

how do you know what the rolls costs?

oh, and it wasn't a comparison. i asked that, given the choice, which would you rather have-not which is better.

its a guess obviously, i think around 250000 pounds, or about 350000 dollars? which would i have? the bentley, the rolls is just such a ridiculous statement, and i've always prefered bentley.

These cars are all about making statements. (Just like a Veyron) My choice would be a Rolls Royce b/c its more exclusive IMO...you have to actually see it in person to really appreciated these work of art on wheels however.

The Bentley is here and now. It has performance and the good looks. The Bentely is the obvious winner.

Bentley, performance, luxury, and AWD so that I don't have to park it in the winter.

The RR maybe higher class, but its ugly as sin.

Neither.
The new Azure Coupe takes my vote.

so, you're saying that if some guy came up to you on the street and offered you one of these cars you would say "neither" because you're waiting for the Azure?

again, this is not a comparison. i'm just asking which of these two would you rather have and why would you choose one over the other.

yes, that's exactly what I would say.

I would never want any of those cars.

I was kidding.

Although where I live, the majority of Bentley/Rolls owners are elderly.

Is that the Diamond Series GT? Those wheels make it look SO much better, as if it wasn't cool enough before.

I'd take the Bentley. It doesn't just have the luxury- but it easily outperforms Rolls-Royce's underpowered V-8.

Oh and, there are definitely more exclusive cars out there. Aston Martin DB9 comes to mind, as does Spyker C8. And, most importantly, Bugatti Veyron, Porsche Carrera GT, or Ferrari Enzo, anyone?

"Oh and, there are definitely more exclusive cars out there."
Note how I asked for the most exclusive "coupes".The Veyron, Spyker C8 and Enzo, although coupes, are more commonly known under the genre "supercars". The carrera Gt is a convertible "supercar". I definately think that the RR and continental GT are more exclusive than the DB9. They are probably more expensive anyhow.

The AM definitely isn't as popular as the Bentley, and they're around the same price.

However, all considered, I'd save my $ and either get some sort of 997 or a V8 Vantage.

But one things for sure... no one will ever forget these cars-they represent the first modern coupes made by 2 of the worlds most exclusive brands.

Between those two super coupes, I got to go with the Bentley. This is for me only, I thouht the 101x were more like for rich old folks who sit in the back and have a driver drive for you. To me the Bentley GT is a pure super coupe where I drive and have fun with it. Both are very beatiful and prestigious coupe to own for sure. I take that one for Christmas please, which one, how about that Bentley GT ;) LOL :) .........
