Here are more images of the 10th generation of the 2007 Toyota Corolla.

The 10th generation Corolla will make its European premiere at Helsinki Motor Show (November 30th to December 3rd - 2006).

The new Corolla, Toyota’s worldwide best-selling model, will be a stylish and dynamic sedan designed to appeal to a broad range of customers in the European market. It will further enhance its traditional virtue of quality while adding a distinctive design, high interior space and exciting driving pleasure.

The all-new Corolla will be distinctive and different. It is designed to offer customers a unique sense of driving and owning in its class. Key interior features will be maximum interior space, comfort and a premium quality passenger environment. The passenger cabin architecture has been carefully designed to create a remarkable sense of spaciousness, beyond the actual physical space available.

Two new advanced technology engines, one petrol and one diesel, will be introduced to the Corolla range. They join a powertrain choice that features now two diesel engines, two petrol engines, and three transmissions.

If Toyota cancelled a previous redesign [alleged due to the futuristic Civic] in order to wait for this new Corolla then I suggest they wasted a year!

Well, I think it is as exciting and delightfull as using a public trasport bus or may be a golf cart.

All I hear is "OHH, the QUALITY, the RELIABILITY, oh I am SUCH a CAR ENTHUSIAST! Oh, I don't care how it DRIVES- I just care about QUALITY! BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! OH, TOYOTA, I LOVE YOU!"

Geez!

And to say that VW/Audi copy Toyota and Honda is just pushing it a bit too much. The only car that they copied was the Jetta- and I don't like the Jetta. I'd much rather have a Rabbit or GTI!

Yes, but the rest of the body is much better. The Rabbit also doesn't have the Jetta's horrific all-chrome grille.

The '07 Corolla looks like a mini Camry/LS460.

I would rather buy a 4 cylinder Ford Fusion than this Toyote.

Like when the subject is about which car is the better sports sedan, RELIABILITY has nothing to say in that topic. Yet, the very fact that some people bring it up shows what a dump Autospies is.

Despite my previous comment. I found this video. This driver, appearantly, had an exciting time while driving his Corolla. I will never be able to do this, so I stick with my opinion.

I really don't think the reliability plays much of a part any more. Nowadays, there's such a small difference in reliability between one car and the next.

So people have had their E-Class break down once in their ownership- big whoop. The GS hasn't, so the E-Class is automatically on the bottom of the reliabilibility list. Will, if you think some cars have bad reliability today, it makes you look really young and, quite frankly, spoiled. Maybe ten years ago- but not really today, at all. The only company that makes cars that are even comparable in bad reliability to cars of yesteryear is Land Rover. The rear suspensions fail at random times and the car falls through, the transmission breaks, and of course all of the electronics go wrong. This mostly applies to the RR and RR Sport.

Overall, I'd rather have a satisfactory owner's experience with my car, and car alone, than how many times I've been to the dealer. And truly, to me, it doesn't matter one bit. My car has never been to the shop- but if it was, I wouldn't think much of it. They'd give me a loaner and it would be fine.

Oh and, by the way, quality is subjective too. Quality doesn't simply depend on how the interior feels. It's also the quality of the engineering, the quality of the ride, the quality of how the windows go up and down! It could be any number of things. Lexus isn't necessarily "high quality" or, in other words, "higher quality" than German cars just because JD Power says so.

Wow-Toyota really got radical here. What did they do tilt the windshield an extra 1000th of a degree. There must have been a lot of internal fighting going on the yr they postponed this car. It's clear the neocon's won out. But most people like boring reliable cars so this thing will sell like hotcakes. At least the grill looks better on this then the Camry.
