Volvo hoping new models will end sales skid
Volvo's two-year sales skid should end in 2007 when four new or redesigned products arrive. But because three of the vehicles arrive late in the year, the Swedish automaker does not expect much of a volume increase.

The new models arriving are the S80 flagship sedan, C30 hatchback, V70 wagon and XC70 wagon. Also coming is a V-8 Sport variant of the XC90.

I think they did a great job on the new S80!

I hope they will offer black painted wheels on the XC90 sport like that "Pirates of the Caribbean" grand prize had.

The C30 is a hot vehicle in Europe. If priced below $25,000 should do well in the US.

Although the S80 ain't revolutionary, it's much more crisp and clean than the old one. It should sell pretty well. The C30 is pretty cool.

I mean "isn't" (not ain't) (Just before this, commented on the Toyota in Texas article, so my mind was kinda on Texas things. :)

C30 is cool, but it's no Mini-beater. Not cute (or distinctive) enough.

New S80 is okay. I don't see justifying buying one over an A6, 5 Series, GS or Infiniti M (S-Type and 9-5 are dormant, E-Class is too much $).
