2007 Detroit Auto Show- More Toyota spy photos sneak out early!
Dear 001,

I caught these 2 Tundra's in central CA last Friday refueling. They were each towing another truck in their trailors. As soon as they stopped, they were swarmed by eveyyone at the gas station to get a peak.

Ben

Good. It's a truck. I know it's probably class-competitive, but I don't find trucks very interesting.

Well that's fine, because they don't find you interesting either. In fact, not many people find you interesting.

That bed looks to long, it must be made shorter or else this might actually be used for some "truck" duties, we can't let that happen.

I saw pictures of short bed with a regular cab - so it may be in production if that wasn't a photoshop.

GM, Ford, and Dodge are already at 650ft lbs with 6 cylinder engines. I would look more towards 800ft lbs by 2008. Toyota will be coming out in the next couple of years with a diesel option and a three quarter ton truck judging by Toyota's recent purchase of Isuzu.

Look at the new Silverado's LTZ interior, I think you will be surprised.

That's actually the opposite of what we're all saying!

They make fine cars for the everyday consumer (NOT FOR ME), and their trucks will be facing some tough competition from GM and Ford!

Now, Dodge needs a new truck before it's too late.

a lotta peeple bitch about the styling.

to me, altho the front is a tad overagressive, overall it looks BETTER than the competition.

note the kick up on the rear door, suggesting a sleek sedan. (albeit tall. but this IS a truck. )everyone ELSE's crew cabs have unimaginative SQUARE doors and cabs. what you'd expect on a truck, but showing NO imagination on part of designers.

tail lights also unique.

Nothing to rave about. Just another Toyota who the media will hype as the best because it's a Toyota.
