Can Porsche steal the buzz back from Aston Martin?

I think there is plenty of room in the marketplace for both the Rapide and Panamera to be successful.

I think between the two the Rapide is the better looker, but the Porsche is far from ugly.

Yes, I agree with the first comment. Out of the possible 10 consumers, 5 will buy the Panamera and the other 5 will purchase the Rapide.

It's gunna be one hell of a battle in this highend market, I only wish I could buy one these amazing cars.

The Panamera looks nice and logical, a long 911. It's not a stunner though, in the order of Aston Martin.--at least from the pics we saw on this site.

the front of the Panamera looks very nice, but the 911-esque rounded rear end looks out of place, IMO...however i also understand the importance Porsche places on its classic long standing designs. Raking the roof line and creating a flatter boot lid would not make it look like a Porsche. 6 in one, half a dozen in the other, I guess.

If they build the Rapide close to the concept, the Panamera's got nothing on it though it's a nice looking car... well if those photos are close to the final production car...

Does look better than the spy shots let on. Have to wait to see it in the flesh. The Aston is cool but not a runner. Almost every one bought so far is in the shop right now.

When the Rapide arrives, it will be the best looking sedan on the market, just nudging out the Maserati. Beautiful car.
