Here is the official teaser shot from Lexus!

We LOVE the outrageously cool stacked exhaust treatment!

Has anyone ever seen that on another car?

The M logo isn't flamboyant, and neither are the RS and AMG logos. The M logo has references to the Bavarian state while AMG's looks like an industrial type Arial print. Not sure how to describe Audi's RS logo.

Either way, my response to Blues response out of annoyance with his fanboy crap.

i would have to agree it is just emblems who cares, i dont like the is at all, but i think the stacked exhausts look cool something different.....but as far as bmw the reason why lexus even has the f series, if bmw doesnt have any real performance cars than no other manufacturer does pretty stupid comment but most of the comments from the lexus supporters are pretty psycho and stupid which would lead me to believe they dont actually drive them, i picture someone who drives a lexus as not being borderline psycho, and ignorrant..maybe very conservative. but i think the exhaust are form than function i would agree they look like they would create some sorta problem especially since that plastic bumber is that close to the exhaust as well but hey its not a real performance car.....but it looks cool anyway

This is the first time you will ever hear me criticize a Lexus but that F emblem is horrid. It reminds me of the Acura/Honda Type-S logo. It needs to be more elegant, like the car.

Come to mention it, I'm not to thrilled with the clear turn signal either. I think it should look basically the same as the original IS, with minor additions (i.e. exaust pipes, underbody spoilers, rear spoiler, etc.)

I'd like to see this stakced up against the C63 and RS4... similary power and concepts, but different execution. I have a feeling the C AMG and IS-F will end up being as fast as the RS4, but not as satisfying (like C AMGs have been in the past)- but I'm not jumping to conclusions quite yet.

The car look awesome even only a small of it is shown, and yeah I have to agree they need to make a better emblem than that. If this car come out with 420+ hp it going to kick a$$$ for sure. It look really fast on the race track, so I think it could reach 0-60 in the 4.6-4.8 range. But let hope it can do better than that to take the crown in this segement.

Man I can't wait to see the test result when compare with the new up and coming M3, C63 AMG and the current RS4. I would not be suprise that in two years all the car in this segement will have 450-500+ hp under it hood. I mean look at the current RS4 420 hp, rumor of the up coming M3 V8 420 hp, rumor for the up and coming C63 AMG 400-468 hp and the 2008 Lexus IS-F soon to be release with at least 425 hp. Hey!...it all good, more bang for my $$$...

I like how the amber tail lights are gone. It was only a matter of time that those ugly colors had to go. The newer, clearer lights are much more attractive.

I have a question though. What does the F stand for and why is Lexus getting into the 'special' badging segment competing against the AMG's, M's, and R's. Lexus is capable of making a fast car and making that fast car popular without creating a new 'division' for high performance models.

Anyhow, the car looks good. Not my favorite but I can see it being a hot seller. It will be understated like the S4 since it basically looks like a normal A4. Now the S4 that's a different story.

The IS350 is nice- but will the IS500 live up to the hype?

I wonder if the new C-Class will be shown there, also?

In customary Mercedes fashion, an AMG would be shown along with the intro of the C, wouldn't it? So, possibly, the IS500 and C63 AMG will both be released?
