Former car marketing wiz caught with her panties down? Is she damaged goods now?
"There is no improper relationship. Absolutely not. I've had this my whole career. ... I'm meant to have slept with about half the men I've worked with, so I clearly get around, but I can tell you I've never experienced any of the benefits of that."

Said her husband, Mike Roehm: "No, I'm not divorcing my wife. Sean is a good family friend of ours."

AUTO SPIES PERSPECTIVE: The Spies say her mistake was that she got caught believing the hype about herself and thought she was untouchable.

We also say that even if she did bang this guy, who cares.

God forbid they ever look at the male auto execs and their escapades on the road...that would be quite a diary!

And we do think she deserves a second chance...but in an auto company, where her skill is most well suited.

Reminds me a bit of John DeLorean and GM.

The article is too confusing, but I don't think this is the end of the world.

She had a very influencial position in the auto industry before Wal-Mart recruited her...

Julie Roehm was named Director of Communications for Chrysler Group Marketing in December, 2003, with responsibility for all branded communication efforts for the Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge brands. Ms. Roehm’s responsibilities include media purchasing and creative; auto shows, branded events, sponsorships and partnerships; interactive media and gaming, customer relationship management, merchandising and licensing, and dealer advertising association communications.

Since beginning her new role, Ms. Roehm has created a department able to effectively gain maximum exposure for all three brands by leveraging individual brands successes while keeping the unique feel of each. An area that has greatly benefited from a synergistic approach is gaming--- Building on the Chrysler Group’s initial forays into this emerging medium, Julie has led a move to broaden the reach and depth of the Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep brands efforts. Customers on the web can now also experience a virtual test drive via three graphically rich on-line driving games which deliver a fun experience while educating about the vehicles and brands. These strategies and techniques have resulted in her appearance and keynote speeches at several industry leading conferences such as the Dynamic Logic conference and the Yahoo! Broadband Summit. Since January 2004, Chrysler Group has experienced over 1.5 million game plays while gathering valuable metrics: primary demographic of game player is the hard to reach young males, some games getting three to five plays per user translating to 30 to 50 minutes engaged with the brand. In addition to expanding gaming, Julie has led a drive to increase the amount of on-line advertising done by the Chrysler Group to an industry leading mix of 10%.

These efforts support a strategy to vastly improve media mix for the national communications as well as better informing and influencing that of the local and dealer level media plans. Ms. Roehm’s influence and synergy with the local dealer associations has led to over 20 successful launches at the Chrysler group. These successes can be attributed, in part, to her efforts to inform and develop plans to best maximize the combined media budgets and plans of the national Tier 1 and local Tier 2 efforts.

Most recently, Ms. Roehm has been successful in moving the marketing industry’s perception and consciousness regarding media mix and stale industry practices. This is most apparent in her recent keynote speech at the annual ANA TV forum where she challenged the traditional TV upfront process while proposing a new market driveb process based upon the NASDAQ system. Additionally, Ms. Roehm outlines the future of media as broadband and two-way devices replace existing communication tactics. The results and impending discussions have been the topic of discussion in such publications as Ad Age,

Long story short. vcowman is correct - don't need to write a article that long when these 9 words "this executive manager is a total slut and got fired" tells the whole story.

Guy, you need to get better friends, but maybe they really are good friends and swaps don't matter.

I'm not sure why her sex life should be an issue. Your interest is in her professional talents. Every woman takes off her panties at some point. Big deal. Walmart is hypocritical for making this an issue. This company barely pays minimum wage, while encouraging employees to work off the clock, yet they fuss about a personal relationship between two consenting adults. You want to know how many male Walmart executives have a mistress? Gimme a break.
