Not surprising...Concept's usually look worlds better than production models, espcially with lower priced models.

Wow it's a lot toned down from the concept. With a few aftermarket parts it will look just as aggressive.

This is the new trend--Asian companies trying to make their designs look more Caucasian. Notice the chiseled look of this car, you can tell it was designed to look more Euro.

This design is very close to the...oh damnit, what was that concept that Mitsu came out with (a future gallant or something). I want to say it was about half and half with 'spies' on their thoughts and reactions.

I guess that was just a cue as to the future design direction of Mitsu cars.

i must say i do like it, and i reckon that the evo will be a WRX killer, simply based on looks. For Subaru's sake i hope they brighten up their grille quick smart to compete with this baby

Hold the phone guys...for all you who have said that it looks "toned down" or boring compared to the concept, remember that this is the base Lancer. The EVO i'm sure will be much more aggressive and cooler looking. Look at the differences between the current Lancer and EVO. I think this is a great place to start and a big improvement over the current exterior styling.

Can definately see Acura TL in the side and IS style tail light in the back. Overall, not bad for a compact.

That's cool!

This is a HUGE improvement over the current version. I'm glad Mitsubishi is bringing some life back to its core product line. Perhaps they won't pull out of the American market after all.

If I saw this car at night I'd run. It looks like it's angry or something.
