They must want to get rid of the old style S class. But the deal is still really good, if it really is true. When does the deal expire would be my question.

That is one hell of a deal, but you will most likely pay taxes on the second car, but a great deal.

MB giving them away for free. Its the only way I would have one. Even for free, I would sell it.

They have no more 2006 S class in stock.

let's also keep in mind how many MB's can you drive off the lot for under 55k? SLK, C, ML350, R350? The pickins is slim in that area.

I guarantee you there's no 2006 models on the lot that's under $55000 when you get there.

I would think that what they mean is that you will not have any drive off costs, but you will still have to pay monthly payments and so forth.

It could be that the other "free" car would be a short term lease. A 2 yr lease may only cost them $10,000 and I bet that there is probably real close to that coming back from the factory on the 2006 S class.

Wow! What a deal!

I'll take a CLK350 Cabriolet along with my S500, please!

Or a base GL? Hmm.... decisions, decisions.

I called the dealership...

Its true, this deal was legit. But, it was only for the ONE remaining 2006 S500 they had on their lot, and expired after that.
