Saturn Aura Seduces Import Shoppers

Saturn Aura Seduces Import Shoppers
The new Saturn Aura is not only chalking up good reviews, it's also attracting all kinds of competitors' cars in trade, according to Jill Lajdziak, the GM marketing executive in charge of the Saturn brand.

"We're getting all kinds of vehicles in trade for the Aura," Lajdziak said. Saturn dealers report they are taking in Honda Accords, Toyota Camrys, crossover vehicles, and even BMWs for the Aura.

More than 40 percent of the Auras sold so far have been bought with highest trim level, she said.

OPEL. I remember seeing an OPEL CALIBRA, it was beautiful. It was selling almost the same price as as 320is in my country. It came with a 2 liter with 150hp. 225kph, very nice car.

Hey...! sure....whatever she says....people are trading in their Accord, Camry and BMW for the Aura? it all part of publicity to try to get this vechicle off the lot. I live Orange County California, most car I see around here are Japanese cars and German cars. Their alots of Camry/Lexus, Accord/Acura, Nissan/Infiniti. And the most German car I see around where I live many..and I mean many....MB, epecially the new S-class, BMW and Audi.

Hey...but at least GM is trying

I really like the new Aura. Saturn deserves to succeed.

In that picture, it's particularly stylish.

It's odd saying this, but it has more style than a Lexus LS460.

"Okay now thats going a little too far!"

How so? The LS460's exterior isn't particularly interesting. The only feature that is even half-distinctive is the molded exhaust outlet. The rest? Hum-drum. The exhaust actually looks out-of-place on a car that could pass as a big ES330 (note that I said ES330, not 350).

The inside is nice. I'm sure it's quite lavish with the ultra-luxury rear seat package. But the overall design flair is nothing special at this price.

Wow. They're getting a lot of interest in the Aura? I guess Jill Lajdziak, the GM marketing executive in charge of the Saturn brand must be pretty excited.

This car is sweet. I cant wait for the astra sedan. Ye Opel should of been the name just so we can forget about the old plastic saturns.

This is the American version of the European Opel Vectra C although Saturn looks much better.
