Top Gear: Range Rover 580S vs. Mercedes SLK 320

Who else would put an SUV against a roadster in a drag-race but Top Gear. This one of those comparison tests that really don't make sense, but achieve a great amount of laughter and excitement.

That reminds me of a test Jeremy Clarkson did a few years back when he got the previous-generation Range Rover Overfinch and had a drag race with a Ford Focus -while towing another Ford Focus on a trailer.

the Rangie still won.

ml63 amg.. 0- 60 in 5.0 seconds( according to fifth gear) and in 4.8 seconds ( on mbusa.com)

0-62 accoriding to 5th gear, so the times do match. mb uk says 5.0 too for 0-62.

I'm surprised the underchassis parts of the range rover didn't fall off. I'm sure something came loose or got broken after that high speed off road run.
