Because it was most likely posted to draw out the Lexus haters. It seems like every article somehow brings Lexus into the mix, even if it is about a motorcycle, someone always mentions Lexus and starts a war.

Your right i can't say i care for lexus but alot of the articles lately lexus involved. any ideas why?

I don't, actually. It seems like most articles that are posted are negative towards Lexus. It could be to start flame wars, but there have been so many Lexus vs. Europe articles that we go over the same things countless times.

Honda makes great cars. The Accord is spot-on.

Honda does make great cars.

When you take it all in, I just can't think of one reason, EVER, to buy a Toyota over a competing Honda model.

Same thing for me, only replace Toyota with Volkswagen.

This way, there will be a lot more people interested in clicking this post. That's just my guess. I've noticed that Agent009 has a very unique view point about Toyota in general.

The Toyota bashing is actually getting really old. I come to this site for some great news and info that I cant get anywhere else, but posts like this with the editorialized headlines are ridiculous.

btw... Honda's January-November auto sales in China rose 23% on year, Jan. through November, 2006.

I am pretty sure Toyota's sales gain was higher - I think above 50%.

Toyota and Honda will show huge % gains, because actual sales are very small.
China has strict laws to discourage imports ... you practically have to build the cars within China, and then you can import your low-volume models.

VW/Audi was one of the first to build a factory there, and a couple of years ago held 38% of Chinese market share!
But now the Japanese are starting to move in, and GM is making HUGE inroads, so the market is fragmenting.

Did you know that for over a year now, VW/Audi sell more cars in China than in Canada and the US Combined!
But this huge market will drive huge oil-demand, which will drive OUR gas-prices through the roof.

Predicted next "news" story title:

"Tuned version of the Bugatti Veyron sets speed record. Toyota Camry not even close?"

GM is big in China but getting smaller in the US. hmmm. Maybe all of Detroit will relocate to Beijing.
