Toyota Failing to Conquer JD Power IQS in World's Third Largest Market

Honda Motor Co. swept three of the six vehicle categories in J.D. Power and Associates' survey of initial vehicle quality in China, the world's third-largest car market.
The survey found that the largest improvement was reported for Chinese domestic brand vehicles, which account for about a fourth of new vehicle sales.
Their overall score improved by 12 problems per 100 vehicles, compared with a 1 problem-per-100 improvement by their international counterparts, J.D. Power Asia Pacific said in a statement.
