Toyota Expects '07 Global Output at 9.45 Million Units

The Toyota Motor Corp. group, including units Daihatsu Motor Co. and Hino Motors Ltd., plans to build 9.45 million vehicles worldwide next year, boosting production by 400,000 units from plans for 2006, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun said today.

It is easy to bash Toyota, but they have a system that works, and works very well. At this rate in 2008 they will hit 10 million cars annually. An astonishing feat by anyone's imagination. It is mind boggling!
