This car costs from $16,700 to $19,650 in Canada, which works out to about $14,500 to $17,000. The interior is horrible, with cheap plastics used everywhere. Mercedes is taking a huge gamble with this one. For that price I can think of tons of cars that I would rather have.

Chewy, would you consider one? The new one will only be priced higher.

Probably not as I don't need a small city car, but I want to find out what the new one is like and how much it costs in the states before I even begin to consider it.

For a city car - the new Smart definitely stands out.

But why not get a Rabbit (more space/versatility, higher quality), Mini or the like?
