Looks like the LS460 didn't do too well against the Merc.

How does this prove anything, at all?

Dumb@ssed article, if you ask me.

How could this be submitted?

yeah all this proves is that the person in the white car is most likely dead and the person in the mercedes is most likely not...I dunno if these were your intentions but this is more depressing than anything.

Read what Fabian wrote. Both cars were equally matched but the DAS in the Lexus gave it the edge.

Will,
Get your eyes checked or remove the Toyota shades.
It's a small C class not an S class.
Everybody knows the C class is safer than a Toyota Corolla, but to get crushed like a soda can while the MB can still open/close the doors is pretty pathetic and speaks volumes of MB engineering.

I agree. The C-Class is only slightly bigger than the Corrola, but you wouldn't know it looking at the aftermath. Mercedes makes some of the best engineered cars in the world.

I agree. The car's position in the photo is not accurate. Also, the C Class is rear wheel drive and therefore has a lot more space and parts to absorb the impact whereas the corolla is a front drive economy car model that was designed to be light, compact and has a small front wheel drive drivetrain that moved to the passenger compartment. Bottom line is not everyone can afford a mercedes. But it makes you feel confident to think that you'll be safer in it in an accident. In a Toyota, you just have to hope for the best. But I think the newer Toyota models have good crash test ratings.

It a 05 Mercedes C280 and a 1980's or 1990's Toyota Corolla.
