This must be some car. Honestly I wasn't very excited about it however after all of the positive reviews, it's becoming quit a compelling alternative. On MSN, in the auto section, their was yet another glowing review of the new TT.

Yes it is a nice women's car but for that kind of money I prefer buying my wife a SUV.

A TT S Black/ Black is no chick car

Maybe a TT 2.0T Blue with basic tires is but the new TT is no chick car you hick

I don't know how to post news articles but in a recent Canadian comparsion the BMW 335i beat out the the Audi RS4 and BMW M coupe. ( google it under bmw news 12/25/06) I know some Audi fans will say something like canada is not country of real car fans or give some other exuse, but most Canadian cars don't have the tough U.S. emission standards and are identical to to cars sold in Europe. The audi bias writers Autospies will not post this BMW winning comparison.

I think I heard about that before, that was a car of the year comparison for the sporty sedan and the the BMW 335i won because it is much cheaper.

Larry- I bet you can find mags that recommend the Ford Pinto.

Congratulations to the Audi TT,if fifth Gear think it's the car of the year then it must be so!!
But for the me the Lexus IS350 or the Infiniti G35 could have been the car of the year also..

there a few truisms in the car business, as you kind folks have pointed out..

1) there is no comparison to the 3 series. It is simply the best car by far in its class(including all versions, one for one.. i.e coupe, convert, m etc.)

2) There is no bigger chick car than the Audi TT. Like someone said, they will think you are a chick, even wothout seeing your face. Buy your wife an suv.

Congratz for audi , but i think the main reason is that the fifth gear is the biggest top gear wannabe.... lol.
