Mercedes Files for the CLC-Class Trademark

Mercedes Files for the CLC-Class Trademark
It is being reported that Mercedes Benz has filed for the CLC-Class trademark. Speculations for what the C in the CLC-Class could stand for vary from a two door version of the very popular Mercedes Benz CLS four-door coupe, to a convertible CL which is the coupe version of the S-Class. The Mercedes CLC car will most likely be based off the Ocean Drive concept that the company will unveil officially at the NAIAS at Detroit. The Mercedes Ocean Drive Concept rides on a V12 engine from a Mercedes S600 and also has a similar platform as the S600.

This car will be at least a $140,000 dollars.

Won't a car like the CLC-Class be a limited producton motorcar?

Audi already has a V12 TDI bi-turbo diesel, but what is the American guaranteed oil that you are talking about since we definately burn all of our own oil.

Why not base the clc off of the cls, makes sense to me. I don't like the look of the ocean drive.

Don't hate. Appreciate.

Just because Toyota/Lexus does not take chances doesn't mean technology stops at self-parking cars.

I love every thing new and innovative, not every thing copied.

I was talking about the front of the car. It's oversized grill is hideous.

I wouldn't want to see AMG touch this, it seems to me that the elegance would be distorted from the pictures we have seen as the direction and point of this car.

I may not like the S-Class that much but this is a nice concept.
