Do these concepts upstage what will be shown at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show?

Concept cars, like production vehicles, are a striking illustration of the importance Peugeot attaches to aesthetics. Finding inspiration in a particularly rich heritage and history, the creativity of designers at Peugeot's Style Centre has given rise to a new interpretation of the "Peugeot style" in each of its contemporary manifestations. This is the case for example with the 908 RC and the 207, which illustrate that style can be truly special without remaining totally inaccessible.

And so, there was only one thing for it! This style value, deep-rooted in the Marque's history, gave rise to the largest design studio in the motoring world: Peugeot's Internet Design Competition! Organised since 2000, the three previous competitions have inspired thousands of amateur designers to come up with thousands of projects. Only three designers have seen their dream car brought to life as a scale 1 model presented on the Peugeot stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

There are some real beauties here!

Why are they going to show a Peugeot concept at the detroit auto show,when we don't even get Peugeot in the U.S??Unless they are planning to come to the U.S!

Also the same winning design entry that will be constructed to scale will also be featured on the upcoming XBox360 racer, Project Gotham Racing 4 as a virtual car in the lineup thus the reason why some of the renderings have XBox360 logos and colors.

I hate peugeot, They show off with super-science-fiction concept cars, but the production cars all look like crap!

But they sell good here in Europe because they are a cheaper alternative for German cars, with even better results at EURONCAP.

Concept cars are automotive self-gratification. They rarely get into production. So what are we dickering about? The car I can imagine is better than the car you have in production, and my imaginary car will erode your sales?
