2007 Shelby GT Pricing Info Released

Ford has priced the 2007 Mustang Shelby GT. Seeing as the regular Mustang GT costs around $28,000, that’s where we expected the price for the Shelby GT to fall. Unfortunately Ford has priced the 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT, which has only 25 more horses than the Mustang GT, at an MSRP of $36,790. We recommend, seeing that you have the cash, to just go for the 500 horsepower GT500 which will cost you around $43,000.

The 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT will come in a 325 horsepower automatic transmission and for those who don’t like automatic, the Shelby GT will also be available in a manual. The Flat Rock, Michigan plant will supposedly build 10,000 of the 2007 Mustang Shelby GT. The car goes on sale in January of 2007

For 25 more horse than the GT for 9k more ? Is ford smoking crack ? This thing aint worth nothing when u drive it off the lot , what a shame !!

I agree I would rather take that monsy and put that money in aftermarket performance. Besides no one can come close to paying sticker for a GT500!!! Try 15-20k over sticker.

$15K to $20K that is like $58K to $63K, I rather use that money and get a Boxster S instead.

Way too much for this special edition IMO, but I am sure it will sell to the same people that are buying the GT500 at so much over MSRP.
