Spied: 2008-2009 Chrysler 300 facelift
Spy photographers have snapped some photos of a facelifted Chrysler 300 prototype. The car's headlights are unchanged — so far — but it appears to have a new set of taillights. From the five test cars that have been spotted to date, only the tail-ends have been covered in camouflage, suggesting the changes to the rear might be the focus of this update.

Some of the most extensive changes might come to the interior, where a complete overhaul is said to be planned. Speaking to the Automotive Press Association in May, Ralph Gilles, vice president of design at the Chrysler Group said, "we need an update […] you're going to see a significant improvement in the interior of that car." Chrysler needs to fix the wheel alignment issues with the Face-lift 300C.

Quality slipping again?

"a complete overhaul is planned..."

I don't even think that will help it. It was ugly before and made of low end materials before and it will again. That is unless they dive into the MB parts box...which is a cold day in hell before that happens.

This is Chrysler's "Bread and Butter" car, im sure they will ramp it up a bit in the design department...At least I hope so.

This car has always been ugly and klunky. I see nothing has changed. The only desirable part of this sled is the Hemi engine. The only thing that makes this car attractive to the public is the fact it is initially cheap compared to a BMW or MBZ. I say initially because the resale is bad and in the long run, is no less expensive than a BMW or MBZ due to the resale value in say 5 years. Let's hope they make some wholesale changes vs what we see here.

Some celebrities have been getting 300C's. It's basically so ugly it's nice. It's not the most expensive full size saloon but it has sufficient luxury ammenities. It has the classic chop top look while the exterior is bold and definately eye-catching. For the money, it is a great car. You get a car that looks like a much more expensive car than it really is. It's menacing according to Top Gear.
